Questions owners ask us
What does a branded hotel management company do?
It runs a franchised hotel day to day for the owner while meeting the brand's standards. At Beco that means operations, quality assurance audits, PIP execution, loyalty performance, revenue management, sales, and monthly USALI reporting.
How does Beco handle a PIP on a branded hotel?
PIP execution is part of the management agreement, under asset and capital planning. We build it into the annual budget and capex plan and manage the work from there.
How do I change the management company on a franchised hotel?
Start with a confidential review: we look at your current management agreement, financials and property. If it is a fit, we plan a transition that keeps the hotel operating, and to brand standards, through the handover.
Will Beco tell me to keep my hotel's brand?
Only if the brand earns you the best return. We are boutique-first but brand-agnostic, so we weigh the brand's fees and standards against what the hotel could do as a soft brand or an independent.
